The French lavender, ‘Bella’ is a fragrant shrub that produces delicate mauve flower heads, each topped with upright petals resembling butterfly wings or ears.

Insights

For centuries Lavandula has been grown for its sweet aroma, picked just as the flowers come into bloom, they can be dried and used to flavour baking or sewn into muslin bags to scent clothes and the linen cupboard.

Care
