- Soil: Well‑drained, fertile, moist soil
- Aspect: Full sun to partial shade
- Sow seeds in pots/trays under cover at around 13 °C, then thin to 5–6 cm apart before hardening off. Later sowings can be made direct into the growing site and thinned to 40 cm spacing.
Parsley benefits from even moisture and good soil fertility. Keep the bed weed‑free and thin seedlings early to give strong plants plenty of room. Regularly harvest outer leaves to encourage fresh growth.
