Lavandula angustifolia Imperial Gem is a lavender that has rich purple flower spikes held high above narrow, aromatic, grey-green leaves. This compact evergreen lavender is a particularly lovely for using as a low hedge along paths and borders, perfuming the air as you walk past. Easy to grow – use in a gravel garden, or clip into a low hedge or, for a contemporary look, a formal sphere. The flower spikes are highly attractive to bees, butterflies and other pollinators.
