In America, Tulbaghia 'Purple Eye' is known as ‘Society Garlic’ due to its strong garlic scent. Perfect for growing in a container, the herbaceous perennial bears umbels of small, star shaped, fragrant, lilac flowers which have a darker purple centre. Clump forming, it is best grown at the front of a sunny border or in a gravel garden. Supplied in biodegradable pot made from waste coir and natural latex.
