notes

English lavender is the hardiest lavender and is a popular component of any cottage garden scheme. A bushy shrub with strongly aromatic foliage, it bears fragrant lavender flowers held in spikes over a long summer season. Ideal as a statement in a border or container, this standard form will attract bees, butterflies and other nectar-loving insects. Hessian not included, supplied in nursery pot.

Insights

Increasingly in its role as a herb, lavender is being used in recipes, not just for puddings, biscuits and fudge, but also for use with pork recipes.
