Features

notes
Flowering from June until late September, the popular nasturtium provides mounds of foliage covered with bright blooms, useful as summer bedding, in containers or to fill the nooks and crannies of the garden. Very easy to grow, the plants make wonderful companion plants, enticing blackfly and the caterpillars of butterflies away from your brassicas.
Insights

The flowers, leaves and seeds of nasturtium are edible – young leaves have a peppery flavour, flowers can be added to salads or to decorate cakes, and the seeds can be chopped as a garnish.  A great plant for children to grow from seed. Winner of an RHS Award of Garden Merit for both their good performance and reliability.
