Unlike chemical pesticides, beneficial nematodes are naturally occurring organisms that work in harmony with your garden's ecosystem. They seek out insect larvae, entering through natural body openings and releasing symbiotic bacteria that kill the host from within. This targeted approach breaks the pest's life cycle without leaving harmful residues or disrupting beneficial organisms.

• Child, Pet and Wildlife Safe - These nematodes do not affect pollinators, birds, or mammals and are safe to use where pets and children play.
• Can be applied throughout the season but results are best late August to October – This is when crane fly eggs hatch and larvae begin feeding near the soil surface. A secondary application may be useful March to April if signs of lawn damage persist after winter.
• Mix the contents with water as per the instructions, then apply using a coarse-rose watering can or hose-end sprayer. Water the lawn immediately afterwards to help the nematodes penetrate into the soil.  Keep the treated area damp for at least 7 days after application to give the nematodes time to reach and infect the leatherjacket larvae.
