notes

This moth trap uses pheromones to capture the male codling moths to stem reproduction, in turn protecting plums and gages from plum moth caterpillar damage. An excellent alternative to using pesticides that can adversely affect your garden by reducing biodiversity and impacting on the quality of the soil.

Details & Care
  • Use trap between May and September
  • Lures should be changed every five weeks
  • Store lures in a cool place away from heat and direct sunlight
  • Includes one trap, two sticky inserts and two pheromone lures
How to use

Place the sticky insert sticky side up in the base of the assembled trap. Remove the lure from the sachet and lay in the centre of the sticky insert. Hang the trap at around head height on the windward side of the chosen tree. One trap should cove a range of 5 average sized fruit trees at a range of 15 metres from the trap.
