Tulipa ‘Spryng Sunrise’ is a bright Triumph tulip featuring creamy-yellow petals edged with blush-pink or soft raspberry tones. Its bold, two-tone blooms stand tall on sturdy stems, perfect for sunny beds, large pots, or vibrant cut-flower bouquets.

Insights

A classic Triumph tulip: uniform, strong, and reliable. It blends the best traits of Single Early and Darwin tulips, delivering consistent mid-spring performance.

Details

Flowering Time: Mid‑season (April–May)

Planting
  • Soil: Fertile, well‑drained loam; bulbs thrive in moisture-balanced conditions.
  • Aspect: Full sun preferred; tolerates light shade but best in bright, open spots.
  • Sunlight: Requires at least 4–6 hours of direct sunlight daily.
  • Planting Time and Depth: Plant autumn (Sept–Nov), when soil temps drop below ~12 °C; depth 15 cm (6 in), spacing 10–15 cm apart.
Care
  • Protect from excessive wet and strong winds
  • Bulbs are toxic to pets or humans if ingested and may cause skin allergy
  • Deadhead as flowers fade but allow leaves to die back naturally
  • Foliage should be allowed to die down naturally and then bulbs should be lifted and stored somewhere cool
