Insights
One of the most popular climbing roses today, it was bred in France by Joseph Swartz and described as worthless when it first came to market. However, by 1908 it was proclaimed as the best white climbing rose by the National Rose Society. Sadly Joseph Swartz died aged 39 yrs old and never saw his rose achieve its glory. It is a recipient of the RHS AGM (Award of Garden Merit), for all round excellence in the garden.

Care
Dig a hole larger than the root ball and loosen surrounding soil, sprinkle with Mycorrhizal Fungi to promote root growth, position rose, infill and water well. Deadhead spent blooms to promote new buds. Please see our rose pruning guide.
