Features

notes

Thornless, healthy and not too vigorous, Rosa Ghislaine De Féligonde is a perfect rambler for the garden with its small, pale apricot flowers, which fade to pink, peach and white. Much loved for its acceptance of poor soil and disease resistance, the repeat flowering blooms also have a sweet, musky fragrance.

Please note, our roses are available to purchase all year round, so depending on the time of year your rose may either arrive in bloom or have been pruned or deadheaded appropriately for the season.

Insights

Ghislaine De Féligonde was created in France and popular myth suggests it was named after a lady who went behind enemy lines to save her husband, however it is now believed to be Ghislaine, the daughter of Count Charles de Féligonde who is the more obvious contender for the title. A recipient of the RHS AGM (Award of Garden Merit), for all round excellence.
