Unlike many Digitalis, this variety produces sterile flowers, extending the flowering season and providing generous colour in its very first year.

- Does not like waterlogged or excessively dry soil
- Deadhead blooms
- The main foxglove flower is called the ‘king’ flower; cut this back after flowering to encourage lower shoots to bloom, but before doing so allow the bees to do their busy work. Highly toxic by ingestion. Wear gloves and wash hands after handling.
