Insights
The leaves are carefully serrated and deeply lobed – they dance fabulously in the breeze (appropriate since a rough translation of the name means 'red haired dancing girl'). In the spring this chameleon-like foliage is an almost shocking pink, as it matures, it turns bronze/green for the summer and then back to a fiery orangy/red in autumn.
