Features

notes

Rosa Adélaïde d'Orléans is the quintessential rambling rose with its profusion of pink buds that open to creamy white blooms, hanging in sprays of delicate flowers rather like cherry blossom and accompanied by a light, musk scent. It also has the benefit of being semi-evergreen.

Please note, our roses are available to purchase all year round, so depending on the time of year your rose may either arrive in bloom or have been pruned or deadheaded appropriately for the season.

Insights

Although a tall rambler, It’s not too vigorous which means it is easy to train and is ideal for growing up the front of the house or rambling over a wall, arch or other large structure. It also copes well with some shade. Bred by Antoine Jacques in France in 1826, the name references Adélaïde d'Orléans who was a liberal French princess. Recipient of the RHS AGM (Award of Garden Merit), for all round excellence.
