Anemone Whirlwind provides a welcome show of crisp, semi-double blooms in late summer. Held aloft on tall stems, the saucer-shaped flowers comprise brilliant white petals with delicately ruffled edges, encircling a generously fringed, golden eye.

A lovely herbaceous perennial, ideal for a woodland area or in dappled shade in the garden, the flowers, raised on stems growing out of clumps of attractively incised leaves, nod in the breeze explaining their common name: Windflower.
