A bushy evergreen that produces a profusion of erect, four-petalled flowers above narrow, dark foliage. Ideal for filling gaps in the border, it looks particularly good paired with yellow. One of the longest flowering wallflower varieties. A recipient of the RHS AGM (Award of Garden Merit), for all round excellence in the garden.

As well as AGM, this plant was shortlisted for the Chelsea Plant of the Centenary for the decade 1973–1982.
