notes

White Sands is the first variegated Lomandra; its refined, grass-like foliage is attractively striated with cream lines against the darker green. In spring the leaves bear small, scented yellow blooms.

Insights

Lomandra looks like a grass but has recently been reclassified as a member of the asparagus family. White Sands will tolerate frost, drought (so is ideal in containers) and will endure wear and tear if planted along the edges of paths.
